Provides transportation to a center where meals and socialization are provided to area residents aged 60 and older in the City of Fredericksburg and the 4 surrounding counties.

CVACL's Education and Nutrition Sites provide hot, nutritionally balanced meals for older adults in a local group setting. Meetings include educational presentations and discussions, health screenings, adapted exercise sessions, recreational activities, artistic and cultural programming, and social events. Van transportation is provided for participants needing assistance traveling to and from the site or its events, as well as for occasional group trips to grocery stores, pharmacies, and local shopping. As part of CVACL's "wraparound" services, each site member is assigned a Care Manager to provide needs assessments, referrals, and follow-up.
This program provides children a nutritional snack and supper during the school year and Breakfat and lunch durubg the summer.

Serves free hot evening meals to homeless individuals and families every night, 52 weeks a year, and on Sunday mornings.
Provides meals to the community on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 7pm.
Carryout meals are distributed every Monday and Thursday at 11:15 at English Park. Cars line up in 2 lanes.

Operates in centers throughout the area that serve a hot nutritious noontime meal and provide a variety of activities designed to enhance the health and wellbeing of older adults. Each congregate nutrition center is part of the MEOC Wellness Is Now or "WIN" initiative and maintains a focus on disease prevention/health promotion by offering a low impact exercise program, health screenings, nutrition and health education, as well as, music, storytelling, quilting, crafts, games and recreational outings. Persons 60 years and older receive an educational program along with a nutritional hot meal at a meal site as part of STEP Inc. meal program.
