Optimal Environmental Quality; Progressive and Service are designed primarily to preserve, protect,and improve our soil,water, air and other natural resources through conservation management and wise use of these resources. We deal primarily with farm owners to develop livestock watering sources, conservation plane for cropland, and technical advise for conservation related issues. Additionally we provide the technical assistance for two cost-share programs.

Administers Federal Farm Programs. Serves as a temporary source of supervised credit and technical support to rural Americans for improving their farming enterprises and housing conditions until they are able to qualify for private sector resources. Offers Farm Loans, Price Support, Conservation, Disaster Assistance and Commodity Information. Serves the counties of Fauquier, Fairfax, Prince William & Loudon.

Environment education for school children involving hands on experience and organic gardening.

Work with veterinarians to help animal owners raise healthy livestock/companion animals. Work through veterinarians that submit animals for necropsy and/or specimens to determine the cause of death or type of infection an animal has. Provide testing needed to transport animals. Protect consumers by testing raw milk.
