Non-perishable grocery items for those families who may need food.

Provides food assistance to needy families residing in Viginia areas. Operated entirely by volunteers and is financially supported by twelve area churches plus individual, businesses, schools, Boy Scouts, and small grants. Persons receiving SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits are automatically eligible.

GCAP offers emergency assistance to low-income Goochland residents for food, rent/mortgage payments, and utilities. GCAP is also able to support low-income residents with educational expenses for job training, after-school childcare, and summer camp. Goochland Community Action Program (GCAP) is administered through the Goochland Department of Social Services. Applications are accepted via mail, fax, or drop-off in person.

The Dibert Food Panty provides necessary food resources that support families and help them thrive. Families can pick up food once per month, with at least 30 days between visits, no appointment is necessary, but clients are advised to call to be sure that food is available.
