Description
Develops and presents environmental education programs/materials to our county schools and residents. Provides educational programs for grades K-12 regarding non-point and point source pollution, soils, water quality, etc. We also have informational brochures, have a quarterly newsletter, and provide information on our web page. We also have a FaceBook Page.

Works largely with the agricultural community and local land owners to conserve and protect soil and water. Provides cost shared programs that assist landowners with natural resource problem solutions and helps to restore drained or otherwise damaged wetlands. Also provides cost share and incentive payments to retire land from production and develop wildlife habitat. Deals with erosion, livestock/animal waste and water quality issues.
