Eligibility

-Household must live in our service area to qualify. -Children ages 0-12 only (age calculated as of Christmas day, not on application day). -Household must self report low income or recent financial hardship. -Application must include uploaded ID, residency proofs, birth certificates and/or custody documents.

Registration Requirements -E-mail Account - You must have an email address to apply online. If you don’t already have one, free email accounts can be obtained through Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc. -Computer/Smart Phone/Tablet with Camera - You will be required to upload pictures of the documents below during your application session. *Start at https://southernusa.salvationarmy.org/hamptonroads/christmas-assistance and follow directions to our application website. *Complete all fields, upload all documents, and submit your application in the appropriate window. *Complete/eligible applications will be contacted with a December 2025 gift pickup time/date.
