Description

Offers tutoring in basic literacy skills and English language for adults over the age of 18. Instruction is provided by trained volunteer tutors who meet with the adult students weekly at mutually convenient places and times.

LVCA is a non-profit agency that offers free basic literacy instruction, Citizenship instruction, and English as a Second Language tutoring to adults through the recruitment and training of volunteers who work one-on-one with learners, helping them become more productive workers, parents, citizens, neighbors, and consumers.
