For more information and to complete an application, please come by Social Services Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Required to meet an income guideline, have a face to face interview, have a cutoff notice from utility company and to bring utility bill for assistance. Funding is available on a first come, first serve basis until funds are depleted. For more information, please call 540-422-8400

For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, clients must have a disconnect notice. EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.
