The mission of Middle River Regional Jail is regulated by the Superintendent and mandated standards, developed and set forth by the Virginia Board of Corrections. The goal of the facility is that, through policies and procedures, these standards will be upheld and security and control will be maintained in the Middle River Regional Jail.
