125% to 200% of poverty.Before the application process can begin for assistance with rent or utilities, the client must have received an eviction notice or cut off notice. Must have a child in the home.

Application process
Specific documents required. The process for assistance is as follows: Applications are received from applicants by the housing staff and reviewed to determine qualification or non-qualification for program assistance. (Note: Applications can be obtained by visiting 18 South Main Street-Chatham, VA or they can be mailed to prospective applicants by calling (434) 432-5627. Applicants are then placed on the program waiting list due to the volume of Weatherization requests. Assistance for the program is based on a first-come, first-serve prioritization basis
