Description
addresses the prevention of underage drinking in Warren County. The target group is ages 14-20, and we work with the local middle schools and high schools, as well as Laurel Ridge Community College, to reach these students. As part of this grant, Warren Coalition: Provides educational information at various events, including Red Ribbon Week activities at the local middle schools Works with student-led groups to create pro-social events and educational events around mental health Creates podcast episodes for My Story Weaves Our Story Develops and runs educational ads/public service announcements sharing promoting factual information about underage drinking and alcohol use, including the promotion of positive social norms and healthy choices Hosts a Town Hall meeting for parents and students just before prom season
