Counselor works in the home with client and care giver/families to prevent home removal. common referral causes; truancy/academic performances, disruptive/oppositional behavior, abuse, neglect, depression, child bearing transitioned into or out of the home for brief period, child under probation, poverty, autism, pregnancy/teen parent, suicidal/homicidal certifications in other areas.
