Support Coordination, also known as Case Management, works with individuals and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure access to supports and services and promotes participation in the aspects of community living that are valued by the individual. This program also conducts DD Waiver Eligibility Screenings.

The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse & Developmental Services (MHSADS) is the central point of entry to mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities services in Loudoun. The Department of MHSADS has a variety of programs designed to provide information and referral, supports and/or services to individuals and families facing mental illness, substance use disorders and developmental disabilities. Each program is guided by person-centered plans, which identify the individual's and/or family's goals supporting their recovery needs.
