Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Fishersville, Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center
Provides a full service Audiology and Speech-Language program. Specialty areas include head injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, and language learning disability. Specialized programs within the department are the interdisciplinary Augmentative/Alternative Communication Program and the Assistive Listening Device Program. Provides access to latest technology in assistive listening devices. Program goal is to provide support services to all deaf and hard of hearing individuals, and to encourage students to achieve their highest level of functioning. LICENSES: All professional staff are licensed in Virginia and certified by ASHA
