Description

Infant & Toddler Connection of the Heartland serves the following counties: Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward. The Infant & Toddler Connection of the Heartland provides supports and services in the child's natural environment (home, day care, etc) for children with developmental delays from birth to age three. Longwood University serves as the local lead agency for implementation of the Part C program for families who live in planning district 14. Off street parking is provided and program is totally accessible for the handicapped.

Infant & Toddler Connection of the Heartland

Early intervention programs provide supports and services for children ages birth to 3 years old and their families so that families can help their child learn during everyday activities and routines. A child and family may receive early intervention supports and services if the child is: up to three years old and has certain levels of developmental delay, differences in development and/or a diagnosed condition.
