Description

Provides a diversity of programs, producing life-long advocates of the game of soccer. The SOCA programs emphasize player development, enjoyment, community, inclusiveness and service. SOCA operates a comprehensive player development program. This full year operation allows each player to pursue their own level of interest. Opportunities exist for all players; from age 5 to nineteen and adult, and from the novice to the advanced. In addition to the primary league programs in the fall and spring, there are several specialized in-season offerings, and significant off-season programs as well.

Soccer Organization of Charlottesville Albemarle

Provides enjoyable, effective, quality soccer programs which develop participant's skills and encourage citizenship. SOCA is a non-profit organization offering a wide variety of recreational soccer programs year-round for the youth in Charlottesville-Albemarle and surrounding counties. In addition to a large youth program, it offers an adult soccer program that averages 600 players each season. It is affiliated with the Federation of International Football Association - FIFA, U.S. Soccer Foundation - USSF, U.S. Youth Soccer Association - USYSA, VA Youth Soccer Association - VYSA, Richmond Metropolitan Youth Soccer League - RMYSL, Central VA Girls Soccer League - CVGSL and the Metropolitan D.C.
