A 28-bed, secured adult inpatient psychiatric facility. Inpatient programming is targeted toward short term crisis intervention, medication assessment, stabilization and detoxification. Services are designed to encourage the least restrictive and structured level of care that is clinically appropriate. Coordination with outside clinicians, community service boards and patient families helps to ensure smooth movement among levels of care, encouraging the transition into community-based life and the patient's home environment. Wellmont Ridgeview Pavilion offers a wide range of psychiatric services: *Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation; *Case management and outpatient referral services to Bristol, Kingsport and *Southwest Virginia; *Psychiatrists board certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry; *Treatment for depression, anxiety, pain and all psychiatric disorders; *Intensive, short-term hospitalization; *Involuntary commitment; *Individual and family therapy; and *Workplace seminars on stress management and other mental wellness topics.
