Appalachian Power and Dollar Energy Fund have partnered to offer the Neighbor to Neighbor Program for customers experiencing financial hardship. Eligible Appalachian Power customers with household incomes at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines may receive up to $300 grant per year, applied directly to their bill to help maintain or restore basic electric service. Funds are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Administered by Dollar Energy Fund, the program provides eligible customers with a utility assistance grant applied directly to their bill.
