Emergency behavioral health support services are available 24/7 by phone at 703-777-0320. The Loudoun County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Assessment Center provides behavioral health evaluation, crisis intervention and stabilization services, as well as referrals to various resources for anyone experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse & Developmental Services (MHSADS) is the central point of entry to mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities services in Loudoun. The Department of MHSADS has a variety of programs designed to provide information and referral, supports and/or services to individuals and families facing mental illness, substance use disorders and developmental disabilities. Each program is guided by person-centered plans, which identify the individual's and/or family's goals supporting their recovery needs.
