Residential Treatment - Timber Ridge School

Timber Ridge School is a non-profit residential treatment facility serving emotionally disturbed and behaviorally disordered adolescent boys between the ages of 10 and 21, with a goal of reuniting them successfully with their families and communities. Boys must be under 18 years of age at time of admission. Residential programs focus on the whole student, emphasizing physical and emotional health, educational achievement, vocational interests, independence, and social interaction to help every child achieve his greatest potential. Timber Ridge School is a fully accredited middle and high school and has been designated as a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP).

Timber Ridge School

Timber Ridge School provides academic and mental health services for the moderately to seriously emotionally disturbed adolescent male where treatment of choice is a highly structured, non-secure environment. A specialized, ASAM 3.5 substance abuse service is offered. At least average verbal skills are required. The program is designed to care for only those types of conditions. Individuals with other disabilities will be referred to another institution with appropriate services. Timber Ridge School is a Virginia Medicaid Provider and approved as a (QRTP).
