Description

The Street Division includes repair and replacement of concrete curbs and gutters, highway medians, driveway entrance aprons, sidewalks, filling of potholes, repairs to deteriorated sections of streets and grading of gravel shoulders.

The Department of Public Works provide services to the citizens of the City of Fairfax. Public Works maintains the city's roadways, concrete curbs, gutters and sidewalks, historic brick sidewalks, traffic signals and storm drains. The department also is in charge of transportation planning, administering construction contracts and maintaining the city's facilities and vehicles.
