Be 18 years of age or older Have a valid Virginia Driver’s License Be able to afford a monthly car payment with full coverage insurance. Live or Work in our service area: Greater Lynchburg Area – Lynchburg City and the following counties: Campbell, Amherst, Appomattox, and Bedford. Applicants must have lived at their current residence in one of the areas mentioned above for at least the past six months prior to loan application, OR, have worked in the service area for one year or more. Be currently employed with a work history of at least 6 months of continuous employment at their current job working a minimum of 30 hours per week that is verifiable prior to loan application (hours may be totaled if the applicant has 2 employers). Applicants that have been on their current job for 60 days may qualify if their gap in employment history did not exceed 1 week.
