Application process
Must be referred by hospital patient representative, social worker, nursing supervisor, doctor's office, or hospital administration. Families of pediatric patients only.

A home-away-from home for families of seriously ill pediatric patients in all Roanoke area hospitals. Provides a place where families can relax, cook, do laundry, and most of all, receive comfort and support from other families facing similar situations. There is often a waiting list. This program uses volunteers.
