Description

The immunization program reduces the morbidity and mortality associated with vaccine-preventable diseases. Vaccines are provided to adults and children following the guidelines set forth by the Advisory Committee in Immunization Practices (ACIP) within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. On-site and off-site immunization clinics provide vaccine opportunities for flu, pneumonia, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and other adult and childhood vaccines. The program also provides consultation and vaccines for foreign travel.
