The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program provides nutritious food benefits, nutrition counseling, promotes breastfeeding and provides breastfeeding support to pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, and for infants and children up to the age of 5 years. WIC also issues free breast pumps to eligible breastfeeding mothers
