The Alzheimer’s Association holds local support groups for caregivers and individuals living with Alzheimer's and other dementia, from Charlottesville to Roanoke. The Alzheimer’s Association works to bring care and support to every community so that no one has to face dementia alone. Support groups create a safe, confidential and supportive environment. They give a chance for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships. Trained facilitators lead support groups via phone, video or in person. All services and resources are free.
