Provides a chief prosecuting officer for Rockingham County and Harrisonburg area responsible for initiating charges and prosecuting people, including juveniles, who have been accused of felony and misdemeanor offenses, and investigating allegations of major fraud, organized criminal activity and corruption and unlawful conduct by public officials. Also administers the Victim/Witness program.
