The Southside Virginia Community College Workforce Development Center serves individuals and businesses throughout the community with course offerings leading to credentials in business, professional development, and continuing education. Offer non-credit programs designed to meet occupational, professional, and personal interests and needs. Workforce courses are designed to help clients acquire and upgrade technical skills, improve employability skills, and meet educational requirements for job certification which are offered regularly throughout the year. We also offer customized training classes for businesses that may be held at the business location or at one of SVCC's on-campus or off-campus locations.
