For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, those under age 60 must have a disconnect notice (those age 60 or older do not need a disconnect notice). EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

Provides both emergency and long-term help to low income families. Promotes self-sufficiency through direct support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare and other human services.
