Description
Provides information, referral and resources for military service members and their families on any needs - military or civilian; answer questions concerning, but not limited to: adoption, child care, education, EFMP/ special needs, financial assistance, health care, housing, legal services, military benefits, non-support, relocation, ombudsmen, parenting programs, recreation, support groups, etc. Services also provided for family advocacy [FAP] (child abuse & neglect, spouse abuse, domestic violence) and sexual assault prevention and response [SAPR]. Workshops include those on anger management, stress management, parenting issues, New Spouse orientation (on-line at CNIC only), Foreign Born Spouse Connection; FAP and SAPR education requirements for the military, and other topics. We also have a New Parent Support program where services are available for expectant parents and parents of new babies and children up to age 3. Our New Parent Support staff member is available in our Oceana office, 433-2912.
