Routine and continued health care is provided by appointment only. Emergency calls taken 24/7 To get in touch with us for an emergency or after-hours problems, please call the office number and obtain the answering service number; then call the answering service and leave your name and telephone number. The physician or midlevel on call will be paged and given this information so that he or she can return your call as soon as possible. In the event of a dire, life, threatening emergency, a patient should proceed directly to the emergency room and identify themselves as a patient of Clinch River Health Services and the on-call physician will be contacted.

Description
Care available at Clinch River Health Services includes prenatal care, infant and child care, adolescent medicine, primary gynecology, general internal medicine, geriatrics, preventive health care, minor surgery, and behavioral health services. Telemedicine services are available onsite at the center through the University of Virginia's Telemedicine Program. Several specialty services are available through this program. Provides access to medicines for patients free of charge through the pharmaceutical companies indigent programs. Patients must meet eligibility requirements of the individual companies. A Family Dental Program is available to eligible patients. The program uses funding obtained through the Southwest Virginia United Way and other sources. Services are provided by Dr. Mark Copas in Castlewood. Services provided include emergency services, extractions, fillings, and cleanings. Call the office number if interested.
