Eligibility

In order to qualify, our patients must be uninsured, live in the Roanoke Valley, and have income up to 200& of the Federal Poverty Level. Our eligibility has expanded to include one or more of the following:-Working 1+ hour(s) per week;-Caregivers of preschoolers, elderly, and persons with disabilities;-People residing in shelters/treatment centers;-Students enrolled in educational or job-training programs; or-People who have been laid-off or have been unemployed up to 2 years.

Current patients only. Must call for an appointment.

Fees

While no patient will be turned away for a lack of ability to pay, uninsured patients are asked to make a contribution for services. $5.00 for each prescription dispensed (30, 60, or 90-day supplies). $15.00 for 3 or more prescriptions.

Description

Bradley Free Clinic's pharmacy services provide prescription medications for Bradley Free Clinic patients, patients who are seen by outside physicians, patients who are seen in Emergency Rooms of LewisGale Hospital and Carilion Clinic facilities, and patients recently discharged from the hospital. The pharmacy has access to all manufacturer's prescription assistance programs. The pharmacy also purchases a large number of generic medications and provides them free of charge to eligible patients. The pharmacy does not provide any controlled substances (i.e., narcotics).
