Agencies wanting to receive fresh produce free of charge from the Society of St. Andrew should call the main number during regular business hours. Adding an agency to our list of receiving partners does not guarantee the availability of fresh produce from the Society of St. Andrew in your area at any particular time, however. Description

Find farmers with excess and unmarketable (but safe and edible) fresh produce to share, work with them to acquire that food, usually through the help of gleaning volunteers who pick, dig, and gather the available food. Distribute the food free of charge to feeding agencies nearby, including soup kitchens, shelters, emergency and disaster relief programs, food pantries, and major food banks. Work with food pantries and other agencies that are not able to receive food from the major food banks, to be sure that the people they serve has access to healthy fruits and vegetables. Do not own warehouses or trucks, and there is no food on-site at our headquarters in Big Island, Virginia.
