The Infant and Toddler Connection of Shenandoah Valley provides early intervention developmental services to children birth to three who have a diagnosed disabling condition, atypical behavior, or a 25% delay in development.

The Infant and Toddler Connection of Shenandoah Valley provides developmental services children birth to three. Children may be eligible for services if the have a diagnosed disabling condition, atypical behavior, or a 25% delay in an area of development. Early Intervention services are provide in the child's natural environment, typically the family home. Referrals to the program can be made by anyone at any time. Once a referral is made, an Early Intervention Service Coordiantor will conduct an intake visit to gather additional information, obtain consents, and conduct a developmental screening. Once a child is found eligible, an Assessment for Service Planning and development of the Individual Family Service Plan will be completed. The Individual Family Service Plan will focus on the areas the family/caregiver identified as important for their child.
