Charles City Commissioner of the Revenue

The Commissioner of the Revenue is responsible for assessing the tangible personal property tax, machinery and tools tax, real estate tax, corporation tax, bank franchise tax and public service. The Commissioner also provides assistance with electronic filing of federal and state tax returns and administers the real estate tax relief for the elderly/disabled program.
