8am to 4:30pm from Monday through Friday

Appointments are highly recommended. Walk-ins may be seen around appointments, time permitting, but walk-in service is not guaranteed.

Virginia Veteran and Family Support (VVFS) (formerly known as the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program) VVFS monitors and coordinates the delivery of behavioral health, rehabilitative, and supportive services for Virginia Veterans and their families. Services Offered - Comprehensive assessment of individual and family needs - Direct linkage to needed services including medical, behavioral healthcare, veterans benefits, housing, and employment assistance - Peer and family support groups - Couples workshops and family retreats - Assistance to homeless or incarcerated veterans

Virginia Department of Veterans Services
The Department of Veterans Services (DVS) is organized into six service delivery sections to include benefits, veterans education, care centers, veterans cemeteries, the Virginia Veteran & Family Support Program and the Virginia War Memorial. Four citizen boards work closely with the agency to support the effective delivery of services to Virginia's veterans, the Board of Veterans Services, the Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Service Organizations, the Veterans Services Foundation, and the Veterans Care Center Advisory Committee.
