People Incorporated is a community action agency headquartered in Abingdon. We serve 16 cities and counties across Virginia with vital services that include early childhood education, financial services, affordable housing, homeless and housing services, adult education and workforce and community development. We operate Head Start centers serving families in Southwest Virginia, Clarke County, Frederick County and Winchester City. We also manage affordable housing properties across the state. Our mission is to provide opportunities for economically disadvantaged people to reach their goals in order to enhance their lives, their families, and their communities.
