Norfolk residents currently receiving SNAP benefits and at least one of the criteria below; - Adults convicted of a recent or past felony charge or multiple criminal misdemeanor charges (at least 3) - A person between the age of 18-49 with no children on their SNAP case and no exemptions from work requirement (ABAWDS)
All benefits and services are being administered from 741 Monticello Avenue. The department's drop box has been relocated to the foyer at this building's entrance and is available 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

SNAPET Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAPET) is a volunteer program designed to assist Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participants in finding employment. If you are unemployed or underemployed, this may be just the program you need to help you get marketable job skills and secure the job!
