Provides a chief prosecuting officer for Scott County who is responsible for initiating charges and prosecuting people, including juveniles, who have been accused of felony and misdemeanor offenses; and looking into allegations of major fraud, organized criminal activity and corruption and unlawful conduct by public officials. Does not represent residents in private legal matters.
