Citizens who are unbanked or who are underbanked. Financial education classes are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. There is eligibility criteria for the financial education.

Application process

Clients can call the Financial Stability Specialist at the City of Roanoke's Department of Economic Development during regular office hours to learn more about Bank On products and register for financial education classes. Clients wishing to open Bank On accounts are subject to the hours of operation for that selected financial institution.

Fees

Bank On qualified accounts are low or no-cost. Financial education classes are offered to the public for free.
