Must be:
  • referred directly from the Regional Housing Crisis Hotline at 757-587-4202.
  • a resident in the service area.
  • able to prove that income covers regular bills to qualify.
Must be able to provide a lease or utility bill and services must be in the caller's name.

8am to 5pm from Monday through Friday

Provides limited direct financial aid to meet emergency needs such as payment of utility bills (electricity, water or gas) or payment of rent. Must be self-sufficient to qualify.

Provides counseling and a variety of programs, intervention and advocacy for individuals and families. We serve people of every race, creed, ethnicity and religion (80% of our clients are not Catholic). Field offices cover a region spanning the Eastern Shore of Virginia, South Hampton Roads, the Peninsula, Williamsburg, York County and the Northern Neck, with a total population of over 1.6 million.
