A program to provide nutritional food to low-income individuals and families. Plastic card and pin number distributed to recipient which will be scanned by grocery store employee for approved purchases. If card is lost or stolen, recipient needs to contact their caseworker. EBT (electronic benefit transfer) cards are available within (7) days if the criteria is met for those with little to no income. Replacement of card will deduct $2.00 from upcoming food stamp benefits.
