Mental Health Intake & Resource Center handles direct admissions to the adult (Mundy 3) and child/adolescent (Krise 6) psychiatric acute programs at Virginia Baptist Hospital. Mental health professionals from across Virginia may call for a direct admission if they have assessed the patient and believe she/he meets criteria (danger to self or others). The Center also provides information about mental health resources in our community and beyond.
