Description

Investigates reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults, 60 and over, and incapacitated adults, 18 and older, and provides services when persons are found to be in need of protective services.

Providing organization

Lancaster County Department of Social Services

Administers public assistance programs (SNAP, MEDICAD, TANF, CHILDCARE) and investigates complaints of child/adult abuse (CPS/APS). Assist with screening for LongTerm Care screenings and provides referrals to other community resources.
