Description
Each Health Department has Environmental Health professionals to assist the citizens in assuring food safety and clean drinking water. These professionals work to reduce the risk of foodborne illness outbreaks by conducting restaurant inspections, protect ground and surface water through a permitting process, prevent and control rabies in collaboration with local county animal control officers, and refer citizens to informational resources.
