Individual cards are being distributed through United Way of Virginia's Blue Ridge, its partner agencies and other community organizations. They are also available at or behind the counter of participating local pharmacies.

SingleCare (formerly FamilyWize) is a free resource that offers immediate discounts on prescription drugs at participating pharmacies. IT IS NOT INSURANCE. The discounts and savings are provided voluntarily by the more than 53,000 participating pharmacies that have agreed to accept this card. It can be used for any medicine not covered by insurance, Medicaid and Medicare plans. Prescription pet medications purchased at a pharmacy are also covered. There are no eligibility, age requirements, waiting periods, enrollment, or paperwork.
