Healthy Families of the Blue Ridge is a non-profit home visiting program for first time parents whose life situation and stressors indicate they would benefit from ongoing education and support. Referrals accepted for prenatal parents or before their baby is two weeks old. We offer a comprehensive assessment of needs and referral to community resources. Parents are provided in-home parenting education and support regarding children's health, development and effective parenting techniques.
