12pm to 6pm on Mondays and 12pm to 7pm from Tuesday through Saturday

Application process

Appointments for pet intake are required. Please call to schedule. Other support services can be requested via online application (https://rvspca.org/resources-education/crisis-intervention-services/) or by calling the front desk.

Fees

There are no fees for pet safety net services. Intake is typically $25 per pet (one $25 fee applies for a litter).

Description

Provides food, shelter, medical care and companionship to the homeless and unwanted companion pets of our area. Offers humane education, pet assisted therapy, meaningful volunteer experiences, and pet/owner training classes. Emphasizes the importance of the human/animal bond and help to create loving relationships between pet and guardian. We provide financially based pet safety net services to keep pets and their guardians together. Services include, but are not limited to, veterinary care support, behavior support, temporary fostering, pet deposit assistance and pet food assistance.
