Fosters a community environment in which people with disabilities can achieve their maximum level of independence. Offers advocacy, information and referral, peer counseling, independent living skills training, transition services for youth, transition services for people with disabilities residing in nursing facilities, assistance devices & accessible home modifications such as ramps and grab bars. Offers community education as well as personal technical assistance on accessibility.
