Offers over 100 programs delivered by Appalachian College of Pharmacy, James Madison University, Radford University, Region 5 Adult Education, Roanoke College, Sovah School of Health Professions, TAP This Valley Works, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia State University, Virginia Tech, and Virginia Western Community College. GED, workforce readiness, associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees; certificates and industry endorsements. Administrative offices for Project Discovery and TAP Head Start are also part of RHEC.

The Roanoke Higher Education Authority is a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia,to stimulate economic growth in the Greater Roanoke region by expanding access to education and training opportunities. This Center is unique in the number of colleges and workforce agencies that have joined forces to expand educational resources at every level, from earning a GED to receiving a graduate or undergraduate degree, as well as obtaining a certificate or industry endorsement.
