What's Here
Providing organization
Alexandria Seaport Foundation
Seaport serves young adults (ages 18-23) who are separated from education systems, the workforce, or their communities. They may have dropped out of school, been unable to find work, been involved in the criminal justice system, have mental or physical health challenges, and/or have family care-giving responsibilities. They typically come from unstable home environments. Using the skills of woodworking and boatbuilding combined with a robust Life skills program, Seaport provides a new path to success for the young adults it serves.
